Emily is a growth consultant specialising in the prepaid, debit and crypto markets. Some clients have come to know her as the fixer. 

She works with disruptive new entrants and established leaders to successfully deliver new products and services that build customer loyalty and drive growth. Her multi-faceted career has allowed her to develop a broad range of complementary skills which focus on solving clients’ most pressing commercial issues.

Emily has been responsible for some of the largest prepaid programmes in Europe and has worked in the UK, Europe, Israel, Australia and the US.

Blending expertise in commercial negotiation, partnerships, marketing and advertising, new product development and business process improvement, with management skills in training, new business development, planning and sales strategies; Emily adds value quickly and delivers results.

EXPERIENCE 

Emily entered the payments market in 2006 working with a small start up to negotiate offers for an investor magazine. Within a short period of time she had generated a portfolio of offers that were more valuable than the magazine. The offers were converted to cash back and with a strategic partnership with Spree and Utility Warehouse became one of the most successful prepaid card products for Mastercard in the UK.

Since then Emily has worked for Raphaels Bank assisting them in becoming the largest Issuer for prepaid in the UK, Prepay Solutions (an Edenred and Mastercard business) to become one of the top Issuers and processors in Europe and with Mastercard Prepaid Management Services to grow and revitalise their product portfolio. 

Some of the brands Emily has worked with include: TUI, Paypal, British Airways, Avios, Virgin Money, Tide, Monese, Caxton, ICE, Sainsburys, Link, UK Post Office, Israel Post, Reisebank, to name a few. 

Emily was responsible for selling the first banking lite product for consumers in the UK with Raphaels Bank, and successfully entering the corporate space for challengers utilising agency banking. Emily has also successfully launched crypto outbound payments converting to fiat. 

Emily is an expert in utilising cash back on financial services products and has worked on cashback integration from inception to delivery and reporting.  

Emily has been a Non Exec Director of the Prepaid International Forum. 
EXAMPLES OF PREVIOUS PROJECTS

Utility Company Loyalty

A utility company that wanted to cut customer attrition and develop new products ensure loyalty.

 

  • Negotiated 250 deals
  • Converted the deals to cashback
  • Added and integrated cash back to a prepaid card
  • Mapped the cashback platform with a third party from scratch
  • Provided customer support and engagement materials 

Created one of the most successful prepaid Mastercard programs in the UK market.

SME Challenger Bank

Investor backed entity wishing to create a challenger bank for SME's in the UK market. Utilised a corporate prepaid card with integrated agency banking capability to enable sort codes and account numbers. In addition the ability to generate standing orders, direct debits, and faster payments including: BACS, CHAPS and Swift.
